Construction of a new Maintenance and Repair facility for Alaska Marine Trucking in Juneau is now under way. “It is the first facility in Alaska where we can bring our 34-foot forklift into a heated shop away from the elements,” says Mark Reid, Alaska Marine Trucking President. “Maintaining our SVE brand forklift fleet and keeping them working reliably has always been a challenge with our limited shop space. The new shop will improve our overall maintenance program tremendously, and we are excited to see its completion.”
