Finalflight_garymaynardThe Lynden Air Cargo team marked a milestone in June with the retirement of Flight Engineer Gary Maynard. Gary is pictured above with Lynden Air Cargo President Scott Hicks at left, and Captain Andrew Alexander at right after his final flight June 29 in Anchorage.

According to Aaron Rocereta, Vice President of Airline Operations, the Anchorage Airport Fire Department performed a water cannon salute for Gary along with aircraft 401LC on the tarmac which included his flight crew of Captain Bret Dittlinger, First Officer Tom Aex, Loadmaster Kevin Boyles, and Aircraft Mechanic Ryen Worrell. Gary began his Lynden Air Cargo career in 2016. He has flown the Hercules cumulatively for the Air Force and Lynden for 50 years. "We are sad to see him go, but we wish him the best in his well-deserved retirement," Aaron says.
