Giving back: Tanana Valley Special Olympics

Wed, Dec 17, 2014

12_2014_Tanana Special Olympics.jpgFor many years, Lynden Transport has supported the Tanana Valley Special Olympics in Fairbanks. "We appreciate that the Lynden family of companies realizes the benefit Special Olympics is to our community," writes Sheryl Powell in a thank you letter. Lynden's Ken Hall, his wife Debbie and daughter Stacey are all involved in the organization. "We have served on the management team for several years," Ken says. "The highlight for us this year was Stacey traveling to New Jersey to compete in the National Special Olympics games. She bowled her personal best and took a gold medal in singles, pairs and a silver in team."
