Alaska Marine Lines receives award from Juneau Empire newspaper

The Juneau Empire newspaper recently announced that Alaska Marine Lines was voted No. 1 by the community in the "Best Transportation/Shipping Service" category. The 2011 Readers Choice Awards give the community a chance to express their opinions regarding area businesses. Businesses are nominated in dozens of categories from shopping to medical services. The ballot was included in the newspaper and was also available online. Alaska Marine Lines took first place followed by Northland Services and Alaska Airlines Cargo.
