Lynden International and Lynden Transport combine offices in Dallas

Lynden Transport TruckLynden International and Lynden Transport have combined offices in Dallas to offer customers a total transportation solutions package. Lynden International is a full-service freight forwarding and logistics company and Lynden Transport provides truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) services throughout the Lower 48, Alaska and the oil patch areas of Western Canada.

"Combining the two companies under one roof allows us to meet all of our customers' transportation, forwarding and logistics needs," says Dallas District Manager Kyle Fisher. "Lynden International and Lynden Transport have each had offices in the Dallas market and served customers here for many years. This combined service center will allow us to work more efficiently and coordinate our services. It also gives us the capabilities to provide additional services and products to help existing customers and to offer a full suite of services to new customers – especially those in the oil and energy sector."                                  

The Lynden office, located at 1319 S. Beltline Road, is centrally located between major freeways with easy access to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. In addition to truck transportation offered by Lynden Transport, Lynden International offers import and export services, customs brokerage and the capabilities of Lynden's worldwide forwarding and logistics network.

From Alaska to Texas: Kyle Fisher named Lynden International District Manager in Dallas

Lynden International announced the promotion of Kyle Fisher to District Manager at the Dallas Service Center. Fisher will develop domestic and international business and manage sales and operations for the freight forwarding company.

A seven-year veteran of Lynden, Fisher was previously Service Center Manager at Lynden International's sister company, Lynden Transport, in Kenai, Alaska. In 2011, he was named to the "Top 40 under 40" list (page 18 of the PDF) of noteworthy young professionals in Alaska. Fisher was elected to the Soldotna City Council, served as the President of the Kenai Chamber of Commerce, the Vice President of the Kenai Watershed Forum and was Vice President of the Kenai Chapter of the Alaska Support Industry Alliance.
